cant login...i get to login screen after tryin to logon a server??
any ideas?

didnt get any messages...i pushed ,,Play'' and it started loading,then it started loading the SOE logo and stuff and i got to main menu...when i logged back on to server selection it told me i'd have to reupdate the patch or somethin

The patch today does SERIOUS updates. It will break eqemu for a long time. If you patched today, then you will be waiting a long time.

Bearing in mind though, any new people who have not already patched up to the date (for example, they are reinstalling after not playing for a long time) then they will be unable to play.

I have no choice but to patch up to the 18th, because I don't have any Everquest installed on this computer. No amount of warning could have helped me at this point.

fack, im in the same possition as Venytir :cry: im not so sure on how the server works but the only problem im getting when trying to connect is that the update fixes the eqhost.txt file, which can easily be fixed b4 connecting. so is there some other problems with the servers running the new patch?

aiight i havnt patched and i still get this when ever i try to log into a server with 0.5.3-DR1/2 it says i need an update, but i have downloaded the latest version.

i just unzip to the folder and overwirte yes?
am i doing soemthing wrong?
