Anyways enough with the plat guides, can you describe your problem in greater detail? You didnt give us much information to work with.

Ok, heres basically everything i can remember from the thing. I logged into the game. tried to type /ooc and then the message came up
"Everquest has detected that your client has crashed please hit yes to send the error report to determine the problem."
But at that point the computer froze had to reboot, it just freezes... Well it really doesnt matter, because it wont let me in because it patched, i dunno why, i always have it unchecked....so if it can help other people then try and fix it. maybe its just my client i dunno...Hope this helps

I noticed this with a friend of mine as well -- I'm running the Yteks Realm server and he was logging in through dialup at work (don't ask) --
When he turned all client side features down and set clipping plane to 10% (i know its rough) -- he has yet to have a problem since.
The client crash has to do with the number of things displayed on the screen etc.. at least it did for him. Anyhow, he was getting the exact same error right after logging in -- now NO errors.. so you may want to try that..
You wouldn't, by any chance, be using an Athlon would you? So far, three people that I've seen reporting this problem are. It's a pretty small sample size, I know... but that's why I'm asking.

I've been having a lot of crash issues with my athlon box as well. I cant seem to see a common thread though personally.
WTF...how bout you give me half the cost of those worthless fucking guides and Ill give you a big fuck you, which is more than they provide.

im having same issue, except it happens to me while loading character into world, which im also having issues with, which is a whole nother matter. Im updated to live, and it never happens there... so might have to do with PC. and now that i think about it, it mostly happens when making a new character... just FYI there...
BTW, guys, great work, i know some people dont appreciate it as much as i do, but i realize it is alot of work to get this to work... so keep it up :P
