First of all i'm using the latest TCS DB. I can make grids fine but I can only get NPCs already in TCS's db to use the grids.

So its obviously something wrong in the way I populate my zones, heres my method

#spawn (Name) (Race) etc. etc.
Target
#npcspawn create
#npcspawn add

Then I reboot the server so it can commit the changes. Now when I target the mob and #gassign it to the grid and repop it wont move, it just stands still. Yet an NPC on this same grid will move aslong as it was already in the TCS DB.

im not sure if more than 1 mob can use a wandering grid so take the other off and that might fix it.

Well nobody else was on the grid. But I did find a sollution, #gassign wont work but if I add the them to the grid via eqadmin it works perfectly.. Odd. Maybe #gassign was changed?

Yes multiple mobs can be on 1 grid, it dont look pretty, and causes stacking issues (where multiple mobs end up on top of each other so when someone attacks 1 moving mob there is many there not just 1) but it can be done that way.

Im using 5.3DR1 Dec 17
TCS 5.3 alpha1

I can use #gassign (gridIDnumber) just fine

I just did today when i was playing with boats

Im not sure why it won't let you use gassign but it is still suported in the code just FYI.

EDIT-- Mattmeck whared your avatar go? I cant fathom seeing a post of yours without it my head is about to explode with the paradox. :x

That would be nice, but My wife is down with it worse then me, and both my kids have it, heck even my dogs are sick. so Noit much sleep here just a lot of "Clean up on isle 1" type jobs.
