Server running but can't login

I got my server running but i can't login i get the 1017 error....

HELP!!!!!

Hey, champ. Would you mind telling me when you patched to eqlive last, what server version you host, and whether it's minilogin or public to all? Just write down anything you've done so far.

Yeah it was kinda lame post...

i am running 5.3 dr2

and i have not patched in a while i haave no prob logging in to servers just my own and a few othersthe "Green" 25267 New

Post your configuration files. That output doesn't tell me much. The opcodes usually don't break anything.

I am using latest DB and 5.3dr2

This one was set up for Mini Loging but i get the same isssue when i try and set up for the main login aswell.

One machine is running server and the other is running client.

I have no prob logging in to most of the other servers.

I have this exact same problem, 1017 when running running miniloggin and when hosting a public server. (and my config files are set up the same way). Iv'e been searching the forums for quite some time and I havent found anything yet.(stayed up all night looking) I also get when i run boot5zones i get an error that says "loading items FAILED".(am i to assume this is a problem with my DB, and could it possibly be the reason for my 1017?) I'm not at my home computer atm, but when i get there ill post the entire message. -Thanks
