starting a server

i want to start a server but its alot of work and i need some help if some1 could post all the stuff i need and help me thro this it would be a great help (who ever helps can decide name =) )

Be prepared, making a server is a BITCH...I couldn't even work on the server. It always failed setting up that mysgl stuff, so good luck to you. :!:

Install mysql 3.23



Download mysql 3.23 from http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-3.23.html.

Run the installation program. This tutorial assumes you have installed to c:\mysql

Choose a Typical install


where do you see buy????
