Says i need the correct version? I have 3.0 and i believe i have the correct eqhost thing....

when connecting to someone elses server, you don't need to have your own emulator running. Sounds like you need to update everquest. run the origonal everquest Shortcut.

P.S. After you update your everquest you will need to change the text of eqhost.txt again because the update program overwrites it.

Moved thread to correct forum (btw to fix this you just need to re-patch then replace eqhost.txt)
