I have two computers and a laptop on my own LAN. I used to play EQ and I really enjoyed playing a ranger, solo almost all the time.
My slow computer:
2.4 PIV
1GB RDRAM (800)
40GB hdd
Win XP (home)
GeForce 3 ti4800 (128MB)
Gigabit Lan
SB Audigy
My fast computer:
2.6 PIV multithreading
2GB DDR3200 (400MHz)
120GB + 160GB hdd
Win XP (Home)
GeForce 3 Ti4800 (128MB)
SB Audigy 2
Gigabit Lan
Would the slow computer be sufficient to be used as my server? Since I would not like to change motherboards on it, I do not really see any point in updating the processor on it.
