Macromedia

Whew is it just me or are these Macromedia products such as Dreamweaver, Flash, and Fireworks somewhat proffessional and hard to use?

Coming from somone with a title like "Pointless Poster" I don't think that people are going to take this poll seriously.

Not that hard for people that use to spend hours on their PC. But for beginners, they do need formations (here at job, its roughly 4x3 hours for the 1st flash formation).

I positively despise flash and wish it would go away. If you absolutely must use flash, I urge you to use it only for images and not for interfaces.

HTML is popular for a reason. I have lots of tools that can retrieve, parse, format, reformat, filter, and otherwise manipulate html content. Flash limits my freedom to control how I process info, so I despise it. Same goes for pdf.

Having said all of that, I think the tools are easier to use than any competing products.
