current eqmain.dll is

I noticed that too lol, but it seemed to allow us logging in so I left it alone... Im not really that knowledgable in timestamps I just added it because I didn't want to bother doing #define all day for new timestamps and having to release a new version because of it...

the eqmain.dll was compiled on 4-9. thats all it means. the current eqmain "internal timestamp" is "4-9-2002 1640". this is found INSIDE eqmain.dll (not gonna say where) and can be found in a packetlog (not gonna tell you what opcode :) )

Having the same problem.. it doesn't seem to be creating the new DB tables for the login info, just as a heads up :)
Window results when I run it says.. :
************************************************** **
Using database 'eq' at localhost
Error in LoadWorldList query 'Select id, account, name, admin_id, greenname from login_worldservers where showdown=1' Table 'eq.login_worldservers' doesn't exist
Error in ClearLSAuthChange query 'Delete from login_authchange' Table 'eq.login_authchange' doesn't exist

I know it's 'not supported' (/duck /cringe /shiver) just tossing back what it tossed to me in case something was missed =)
So far the emu rocks though, have to say.. finally got to live out my dream as a gnome bard ;) (albeit a 200 foot tall gnome bard, but it was still fun =) ). Kudos for all the work put into it!

About the looking for DB tables. That sounds just like the original minilogin. It did the same thing to. Would say something about tables but would allow you to still login and play.

Some people were having trouble with it creating the db tables so I attached login.sql to the file, this has the proper tables in it.

I know this is not support. Just seeing if anyone else has received this error. I created a fresh DB to work with. Anyone have any ideas?

FYI, the new version will have better "debugging"

exactely why i included login.sql, second, where you create an auth on the login don't put the ' ' for the login_authchange column.

Hi everyone! I know some of you are having trouble, so I thought I would give you all some advice (that I learned from experimenting) for running the new login server locally.
First of all, I had an error that stated "login server wrong version" or something to that effect. I fixed this by patching with Verant's server.
Next, I had the "ghosted" error described in earlier messages. I fixed this by making sure that in the login_worldservers table, there is only one entry with id 1, and that the account and password fields match those that I entered in my loginserver.ini file. This fixed the problem.
Next I had an invalid "username/password" error. I fixed it by creating the entry in the login_authchange table only after the login server was running. It appears that when the login server starts, it clears this table, and you won't be able to log in the first time. After logging in the first time, successive logins work fine.
I hope this helps those that have had similar problems. By the way, thank you so much to the EQEMU dev team. You guys are the best!

Dont know how i could have missed it. LOL
Putting name+password in the loginserver.ini solved my ghost error. up and running great now. :)
