i did the guide to set eqemu up i checked it twice i go in and i try to sign on w/ my password and it says invalid so i check my account name and password and try again it doesn't work i use the same screen name and pass and sign into forums HELP me plz!

You did notice the nice little title he has by his name didn't you?

In other words he is asking so he can try to help you, but he needs more information.

i did the guide to get me started i got a password and account name and i ran the file checker to check all files and when i try to log in to the log in screen using my name and password it wont work say invaild user name or password but it lets me log onto the forums with the same information :!:

I think what Matt is after is does it say EQEmu: Invalid username/password, or incorrect station name or password ?

i found the problem but cant fix it when ever i log in the patcher switched my eqhost file and i have to change it back the it does it again. i am fully patched and i have the patchme after the shortcut

You must have the patchme in the wrong place or something.

Check the guide again to make sure you did everything correctly.

Tried using eqw http://www.eqwindows.com
And selecting the 'don't patch' option ?

If you download eqw from www.eqwindows.com, it has a check box that says 'Run patch program'. Deselect it and it won't overwrite your eqhost.txt

i thinkk i got it now it just sits on establishing connections with servers or something
