AD&D custom world....

i plan to create a entirely custom world based off AD&D Forgotten realms around the year 1377 with all citys from waterdeep to tilverton to bauldersgate even to the uthgar tribes upnorth and even include the dwarven clans the gnome tribes( you call call them what you want but my little ranger knows better then to go there they might steal his bow whal hes sleeping and make it automatic or somthing :P ) and eventualy include even the underdark one of the things i will do is i plan on setting it up to remove the class limitations on races in my mind anyone can TRY to be anything anyway if you are interested in helping this project email me at micheal.chapin@comcast.net I will soon be finishing a site regaurding this and i will post the link in this fourm as soon as i get it to a reasonable looking site without any eye sores if you have any questions feel free to email me or post here or even use my yahoo messanger and leave me a message ill be more then happy to clear up anything you would like to know and if you would like to help i would love it so contact me :D

Wizards of the Coast are very friendly when it comes to doing things based on their games, its really the root of the entire D20 system..

Great concept though, really would love to see someone do something other than eq. Keep in mind this is ALOT of work, but well worth it if you ask me..

i just want to make sure everyone knows that this will be alot of work but.... its rewards are worth it i would gladly work hard and earn 1 platnum to turn it in and get 10 worth of joy :) and im sure that once this project kicks off and gets up and working that manypeople will enjoy this :)

EDIT: ok im getting this up ill have a site SHORTLY a friend of mine offered me free webhosting and i found a couple good offers for free hosting the catch being that id have to make a banner ad for there site and im just to damb busy.. so without further adew and no more wiskn the whistle

ok ill put if strate forward and blunt im basicly the D&D guru about this i know some of the codeing i will need to use for this project and some i do not i cant pay money cauz i dont have a paypal account ext... + its illegal i belive... unsure let me know, but if people are willing to help i may beable to help them somehow we could work a reward or somthing out maby even the person that helps the most accidently recives 50$ in the mail some how we will see... this is what has to be done.. ok a new database has to be constructed from scratch.. the classes must meet the D&D requirements name wise and all the stat system in EQ WILL NOT WORK it has to be changed to values of a maximum of 25 and 25 most gods dont even have... ill give further info below... also spells there are alot of spells in D&D luckly we can set it up were we rename them and use there spell effects i belive and the entire world has to be constructed so openzone or anyouther programs such as it will be a major thing and i know most people here are thinking that im trying to pawn all work on outher people that would be incorrect i am doing the work of atleast 7 people currently and pulling forth all information and small detalis we may need

ok now... for the diffrent things simplified i need people to help with well i wont NEED them but I WANT THEM lol you understand ok here are the diffrent jobs...

World Builder ( building the world towns ect... i will provide all information needed on geographical regions ect... and i will also be doing some of this myself)

Class/Race Editor i belive the name says it all editing the classes and races most we wont need to change graphics for... but one or 2 we may... and we may need to change stats around ext... because of this and the stat system would need to be modified for them

NPC Creator there are famous npc's and gods ect they all have to be in here this may be one of the simpler tasks :) altho you will have to wait for the Race/Class editors to finish so you may want to try for both

Item Creator/Spell modifyer the item creation its self and puting magic propertys into the items will be simple but the spell modification i am unsure of its difficulty...

Rewards for service ok as for rewards i will note that not everyone that helps will get one it depends on your helpfull ness ect... and not everyone will get money infact ill just state that no one will but if someone does it uuh musta been a mistake on my part it was a compleat accident mailing you the cash type thing :roll: ok... as for non denomantional ( ie non money) i may be able to come up with things like free hosting with 200mb webspace and all options and 3gb bandwith for you for 2 months to a year... outher such things BUT THE PERSON THAT PUTS FORTH THE MOST EFFORT TO HELP WILL RECIVE A PRICELESS PRIZE!! im not going to say what it is here cauz shawn may yell at me .... so anyway... with that note...
