instead of using the annoying EQW and trying to make it work
here is a thing i use to boot EQ
get a .BAT file and just type the path to your eqgame.exe like this
Example: pretend that your folder is in your C drive
the .bat file would look like this
cd c:\xxx\Eqemu\
eqgame.exe patchme
this works with windows XP havent tried with previous versions
edit: this file you just click it and it boots
i hope it works for you guys :D

instead of using EQemu patcher (nobody should use the patcher to boot eq)
There is no sutch thing as an EQEmu patcher.

If they cant get EQW to work I doubt most of them will know what a .Bat file is.

Annoying? I find the built-in EQ windowed mode extremely frustrating. Any time focus switches back to EQ, it sucks the mouse cursor back up again, and you often have to alt-shift-r two or three times for it to release.
Long live EQW. Sony seems to enjoy copying programs they originally deem "hacks" into their software.
EQW --> EQ Windowed mode
ShowEQ --> LoY Cartography System
Wonder how long until they add macroing and server emulation, too.

I wonder if they'll implement a "run your own server" option soon? For maybe an extra fee...
Wouldn't put it passed 'em.
