ok... I have almost tried every guide out there, I have installed and uninstalled a lot of stuff, and I can only get the minilogin to work... but that isnot what I want....I want to be able to have a server that everyone will enjoy, and like to be a part of... and if anyone can help me buy linking me the BEST guide that they know of, I will be really, really happy, lol.

Depends a lot on which platform you're running, what version of eqemu, etc. If you post all your vitals and the output you're getting on here, people may be willing to help.
