Error 1017 and EQAdmin utility FIX..

If you have created an account with your EQEMU account name and password in the EQAdmin tool before you offically log into your server, you will get a 1017 error.

Open the EQAdmin tool, click on accounts, click on your userame and delete the record. Commit changes. Launch EQW to get to the server section screen, and log into your server with no errors.


I been fighting with that error for 2 days, LOL but this is the fix.

dont EVER create an account in admin tool or anything. the loginserver makes one FOR YOU as soon as you log in for the first time. if the name is already there when it tries to make it then you will get 1017 error and you will be screwed.
