No mouse?

I have a weird problem that has stumped me. Eqemu works fine but when I get on a server, all of the boxes (like spells and actions) are invisible except for text and there is no mouse arrow to use. Through alot of time, I managed to mess with fade anf etc, scaling it both up and down and nothing happens. I just got a new video card so It shouldnt be that, but I think it might be that I downloaded the partail Discord patch, Im about to reinstall the game again (I've done it twice now) to see if thats the case, but I want to know if it could be anything else.

Try looking at the settings for your new vdo card... sometimes there can be problems when you try and use "over and above" settings. For instance if you have antioscopic filtering on you might get a VERY blurrry login screen but everything else is fine... Just set it to normal settings or even low settings and work one thing back up to higher level at a time to see what it might be... .Though it COULD be your everquest, I think it is hardware related.
