I don't run a server but I am a GM on one. I like to run little events in the planes where i'll spawn a bunch of mobs and then spawn Bertoxxulous or whatever. THe problem I have is, how do i give the mobs loot? The only thing i've tried so far is handing them the items I want them to drop (stone of gnoming, hehe)but they never drop it. Any ideas? Edit - one more question. Say, i want to spawn Rallos Zek the Warlord in The Nexus or some old world zone. Is this possible if i'm not the owner of the server? Thanks for the help !

the mobs should drop anything you give them. i am able to spawn a mob and give them no drop items and the item-'s are droped on death..give a item to the mob-npc and the type #npcstats, it should list what it will drop on death.

as far as spawning npc's as long as it is a global model you can spawn it anywhere

Mobs dont always drop the loot you hand them, its wierd on Scorp they do but on RA they didnt. Also if a mob already has a loot table they never will.

#npcloot show
#npcloot add
#npcloot remove

are the best way to do it if you want to insure the mob drops what you want.
