Error when signing in.

Hello everyone.
I started today so hello! =) anyway I had everything working I was equiping my new char for about 10 minutes when all of the sudden I go Linkdead (I am not suprised about that) but then when I try to log back in I get "EQEmu error: Bad Username/Password" =/ what should I do?

Can you log into any servers? Have you tried any other servers? From what I understand if you are able to log to the boards you can log on the login server? The only other thing i can think of is did you regester with yahoo or Hotmail?

I can't even make it to the server selection screen.
I checked datarate.txt and eqhost.txt so it didn't patch. I try using the same name and password that I just did to log in here and it doesn't work =?

Well are you patched to live? Since your still able to post I will assume your isp is all good.

I'm getting the same errors loggin in. I just created the account, and when attempting to login I get "EQEMu ERROR: Bad username/password". So this is not an isolated incident, nor is it a pacthing issue, etc. Something's broken... does the login server sync new user data every few hours and not realtime?

If you could post (like the sticky says) your output to world.exe, zone.exe, and post the contents to load5zones.bat, and all those things, it might be easier to find your problem....

By the way that is all assuming that you have a server running and are not just trying to play.... If you are having this problem just trying to play and dont have your own server running, it is probalby just a connection issue. Try exiting the game (at least back to the connect screen, and try again. If you have everything patched correctly then you should be able to connect... What are the contents of your eqhost.txt file?

I`ve got the same problems, but only my Accounts doesn`t the one of a friend is evertytime able...

Be here for 3 Days and after a few hours I could sign in, but after a Crash or something like that I get the same error...

same problem here..after intense pressure from friends i decided to try to guildwars server..anyways, the problem is not server specific, it's the login server that makes me cry irl. sometimes if i sit there and retype, or disconnect totally and reconnect again it works, not sure why. could the login servers be clogged from "idle" players getting booted to the server select screen?

I've been getting this error all day....after an hour or so, it would let me on...then if I LD or anything, i'll get the error
