I need a recommendation from an IP genius on a good low level book covering the protocol and its children (UDP, TCP). I'm not talking about the name of any title you may have thumbed through at the local bookstore. I need a book that does a good job of teaching low level concepts, even if that means it only covers one specific implementation. Preferably one that is not from 1982.
Ideas? Thanks!

I'm not a genious, but when I was starting out in networking, the
books of choice were:
Internetworking with TCP/IP - Douglas E Comer
TCP/IP Illustrated - W. Richard Stevens
Both of them are 2 or 3 volume sets. My copy of Comer is dated 1991 and Stevens is 1994, so they are a bit dated. I would also be interested if there is a new IP bible :)
