HELP?

i just updated EQ and everything, but whenever i changed all the files, ran EQ (the way it told me to), and tried getting into a server, it would always go back to the server selection and say that i need to update EQ, any help?

EDIT: i may have found the prob, but ill see after it finishes
(im updating the game with all the package downloads)

You patched eq. You cant play eqemu until we fix it. would be nice if you read another forum first.

There are at least 10 posts asking your qustion, if you look at the first 5 posts for any forum I'm sure you'd find a question saying "im gettin 1017 cos i patched did it break EMU?".

He hasn't rude, you should look and search before asking.

actually i didnt see any of them, im not that enthusiastic about reading, specually about somethin i havnt even tested out yet

EQEmu isnt that simple to use, and reading can help a ton. Just about every answer to a problem is in this forum....trust me. The Search command is truelly a special gift. :D
