I had to reregister, but now I get error 1017....I did full scan through sony servers, reset eqhost.txt, still 1017, even on 5.5 DR1 servers...any help?

If you had to re-register is is possible that your account is not yet active (for eqemu servers) sometimes this can take a week or so to get done.. ..

Also, are you running behind a firewall or using a router?

no router, but I use WinXP ICF - do I need to open a port? this hasnt changed since I was able to log on, ie I didnt stop any ports or anything...

Also, I reregistered with the same username / password, so all servers should have no problem, unless they purged at the same time...
