Lagging out to the char select screen

I looked around for a while trying to find threads on this but couldnt find any, feel free to flame away if im just a complete moron...

Everytime I log on, after about a min or so (not even that long sometimes) the latency bar starts to display like im going LD, then it shows the "You have been disconnected" then goes straight to the char select screen. From there i can log on just fine in a few seconds, untill iit happens again.

any suggestions?

Your own server, or another one? If it's another one, all the servers or just one or two? If it's your own you might have set soemthing up wrong. If it's someone else's they could be on an unstable host and it's their connection that's lagging you out, not you.

Try a few differet servers.

well i have only tried on two servers so far...

sadly, I had updated with the GoD patch before reading not to so I only tried it on two 5.5 servers.

Since it happened on both servers im thinking its probably clientside. also, It seems like everytime i use a command (#) it adds up and I go LD that many times untill i stop using them. So i think i'll log on tomarrow and test it out.
