Is EQW in your EQ dir? And be sure you didn't name the file eqhostS.txt instead of eqhost.txt

Cut and paste the entire contents of eqhost.txt here

just a thought...make sure you didn't save the file as eqhost.txt.txt
windows may hide the .txt part so you might have done it twice.
of course I'm probly wrong but hey it's a thought.
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the original EQHost file? I don't want to reinstall EverQuest to get it back. I heard that there is a way to use Verant's servers by using EQEmu. Would using the original EQHost but keeping all the other EQEmu files be the way to go about doing this?

you dont have the right to ask for a EQ file but just run the patcher it will do the job

NecromancerZ, Are you running your own server, or trying to connect to the EQEmu login server?
To connect to your own, everything looks ok, but you might try using 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost.
[Registration Servers]
{
"127.0.0.1:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"127.0.0.1:5999"
but if your trying to connect to the EQEMU login server then you should have:
[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin.eqemu.org:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin.eqemu.org:5999"
