1 last quick fix all works but this..

i have everything working world loads fine and zones put up all with out any error.

i log on my server its there not locked all fine.
i try and creat a charector and it says name rejected.

in world.exe it says

database.createcharector failed
got a bogus charector(cithsis),deleting it
pp length =0

i get no errors at all not sure where to start everything works except when creating a charector.

Ill just bet you are using EqEmu server 0.5.3 DR2 or earlier... This happened for the cat, the frog, and the lizard...Upgrade your server to 0.5.3 DR3 or above.

i cant find the 5.3d3 and yes that is my prob made and elf and everything works

where can i get dr3

Not sure you can get the 0.5.3 DR3 files, or where anyhow. But you can get the newest version which is 0.5.5 DR1 ...... from http://shawn319.eqemulator.net/cvs (http://shawn319.eqemulator.net/cvs) . But remember that there is NO support for this whatsoever, as this is NOT a release, but for Developers. Make sure you read what Shawn has posted there and agree to it before you download it.. Also you will have to patch up to current.. Also, remember that if you patch up to current, EQ will NOT run on any server besides 0.5.5 DR1 or higher..... Make a backup.....

Guess what Im saying is, if you download this version and then have a problem, please dont expect an answer to any post here asking for help installing it or getting it working. G'luck to ya' :)

yea im just gonna stick with dr2 and wait for an officail release
