Hello all,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem I'm having, or point me to a thread in which it may have been answered before, as I was unable to locate my problem specifically.
In any event, as you can see, I successfully registered to the forums, hence a valid username/password that was e-mail verified;I made the appropriate changes to the eqhosts and datarate files.
When I open EQ, I login with my username and password; I see the list of EQEmu servers, when I attempt to join when, it looks as if it's trying to change resolutions or something (I see the desktop for a few seconds) and then kicks back to the SoE splash screen as if I just started EQ. If I try to login again, it says EQEmu: Bad username/password, and will continue to do so, unless I exit EQ completely, and try to start it again, in which case I'm able to see the servers again, and the cycle repeats itself.
I tried connecting to all available server versions with the same results, and as far as I know, I'm completely patched (the patching process took almost an hour when I opened EQ before making changes to the eqhosts.txt file.
Any insight would be GREATLY appreciated, and will supply additional information if required.
