DB 9.0 Release! (Only works with 0.3.0)

WHAT'S NEW IN THIS DATABASE?

It includes Drawde's 0.8 DB. I did * NOT * write over any item, I hand-numbered all my stuff again to not conflict with his numbers.

- ST is spawned/itemized. Items are nerfed, again.

- VP is spawned/itemized. (Yard-trash is un-itemized, though) I removed the "Hidden-Name" dragons, like Noelopan (Napoleon) etc. I added CORRECT dragons - Hoskar, Phara Dar, Xygoz, Druuskh, ETC, with correct loot tables, in correct locations.

- North Kael is spawned/itemized. Tormax is temporarily in North Kael. Sorry. AoW/Statue/Vindi/Tormax items are 100% in the DB.

- NTOV is spawned/itemized.

- HoT - Dozekar - is spawned/itemized.

Following mobs are un-spawned, but their l00t is in the DB.

shawn why can't it?? everyone who dl's the emu eventually comes looking for the db's so why not include the full one and have the emptyone as a seperate dl?

I think it is very cool that you are combining your efforts with those by Drawde (by incorporating his DB). I hope that both of you continue to improve the DB's more or less together.

Two questions:

1. I don't want to decompile or edit any race/character models, but....

Is there a way to COPY a model from a zone .s3d (or whatever) and stick it in the Global models file? I.E. to be able to spawn/play models such as Tribunal in any zone. I think he and Erollisi are only currently in Mischiefplane unlike Tunare and Rallos Zek who are global models.

2. The listing of #race models goes only to 255? Is this a programming limitation? I assume all models are available by an ID.

Does anyone have a full (or more complete) listing than the default Eqemu Readme.txt listing?

Maybe this is in this DB I just downloaded. I am at work and can't source this DB here.

Jaeeq, The model numbers ect. are all set by the client files. To dig into it more, and edit the client files you can get eqinside from www.hackersquest.org I am not aware of any other tools for opening the client files. There are some for dealing with a few of the files eqinside can extract though.

Just don't ask for any of the client files, or distribute them. Utilities and instructions on how to edit the files should be fine though.

As for Race, Class, Spell lists, the admintool has txt file lists included with it. There were also a few other pdf or doc files floating around.

I build the DB and then logged back in the game, but when tried to long in on the server side it's saying wrong user and password and I using the old eqemu like I did with the other DB which worked. Any suggestion?

This is on a Home network with 5 pc's and 1 server. I not tring to log on to the net one's. I had 4 pc's logged in on the server pc with the DB that came with the 3.1.1 but when I switch to the DB9 one it give's me user prob I put in eqemu on both user and pass and I can see my server but when I log into the server the server kick's me out cause it say wrong user and pass.

But Like I said the DB that come's with the 3.1.1 work's ok but no spawn's in it.

Do you have any errors in world.exe or zone.exe window? like something saying DB Query Error, d_melee_textures unknown column... ??

and are you using Minilogin or EmuLogin?

On the Server end I use minlogin, world, and bat5zone.exe since I'm useing Xp.

On minlogin it read's

When I start World It read's

LoginServer.ini read.

and on the Zone Load up only error I seen is

Ok I see 3 error's now odd last time it wasn't like that.

I tring to get IRC chat but geesh they want you to buy a chat program that's lame. Anyway let me know if you need more info.

On the Clint's pc's I useing the latest EQW all I change is the EQHost file I put on Server and what ever the other one I just put only my Lan Ip to the server with the :5999 I believe.

Okay that is your problem. you are using a 0.3.0 database in 0.3.1/0.3.1.1

You need to use a database that works with 0.3.1*

The EQEmu devs are working on collecting live spawn data for all of EQ. some of these fixes/addons will be released to the world builders after EQemu 0.3.2+ is released untill there is a complete Spawn database.

Since I can't work due to disablity. My friend told me about this emu. and he said That I should be able to figure out how to do a network lan deal which i pretty much did at begining till I tried that DB9 :) I would like to see if I can get my hand's wet some into the emu and help out. If possiable. Tho I tring to get irc going to see if yall are chatting in it any :)
