EQ Crashes on Start up

My friend has this problem where when we runs EQ it crashes to an error screen. Says "Eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvienence."

Wtf? Any ideaS?

If your just running eq, this has absolutely nothing to do with eqemu. we are not sony support.
