EQEmu/DB dev

1.Stop me if im wrong, but as EQEmu is always in developement, things i will understand one day make DB always need to be updated, so what can i start to do with my DB that will never change from 0.5.5DR1 to EQEmu Final (Ex:Populating Crushbone, PERL Quests, ...), i dont know why, but i smell an answer like :"The server MOTD" :P

2.About MW55 Alpha2, not a "flame", just a wondering, i have played like 12lvls with some friends in Gfay/Crushbone (Im a CB Addict "doh"), but zones are "fishined" with spawn ? Because alots of spawns miss, i know its an aplha, just wondering if older releases got the same spawns as MW55.

3.Why there are like 4 or 5 DB for an EQEmu version, sorry i dont get it. By reading the forum, i see a lots of posts saying "I have this in my DB, i have that, and me this" ... geeez ...

I know EQEmu DB is not really a priority atm, but well, imagine your girlfriend, but no sex ... :roll:

I agree...if people are working on making the database mirror the EQ Live experience, why isn't there one standard? You would think that if the MyraDB and MW database people would merge projects, the bugs would get squashed quicker and more things would get done. It seems rather silly to have two databases set up that are trying to do essentially the same thing. Just my opinion.

I have my own db..i keep it private for 2 reasons

1) its custom for GuildWars only..

2) if i where to release it peeps would then know what drops where how often...while peeps think they know i promise there are mobs on guildwars that peeps have NEVER killed that drop nice loot.

I'm not talking about custom databases. What I'm talking about is the 2 big databases out right now... MW and Myra. GET TOGETHER AND WORK ON JUST ONE. :)

I agree, custom databases I can understand...but it would be nice if there was ONE database that was on par with Live EQ and mostly complete.
