How dont i update?

im new to Eqemu and i noticed it was saying dont update on the 23.. and i just reforated so i have to reinstall and update how do i stop it from updating a certain date and how man y dates are there u shouldnt update on ^^.. if there isnt a way to get around this would anyone be willing to send me a copy of there ndate folder on msn/aim/yahoo? :?:

Ok i read the post befor this about how you arnt alowwed to ask for patch files *Sigh* sry didnt mean to double post either but is tehre at least anyway to stop some of the patch dates

Now to the first post. Yes, it is also illegal to ask for files, as you have since read.. If you have patched when told NOT to, there is NOTHING that can be done about it, but to wait until the devs have made it stable again... I know it sucks, but that is the way of it .....:)

lol go kill myself cause i dont no how to stop it from patching LMAO..ill pretend ill care.. but yea i was just asking if i needed to patch to play it cause yea in NEW to it and i dont no i was just asking for alittle help for somone let let me no if its alright to patch it or there was a way to stop it :-/ :cry: but i have more commen sence then most people so ill read around and try diffrent stuff till i get it right..

ok to NOT update go to the TASKBAR at the bottom of your screen...

Click the START BUTTON...

Click the RUN button...

Click BROWSE...

Browse for eqgame.exe...

After type in patchme....

(I know this sounds like as though it should patch it... but believe it or not... it actually doesn't patch it...) Test it if you don't trust me.

EXAMPLE: "C:\Program Files\EQEMU\eqgame.exe" patchme

(must put a space after the ending quotation marks before the patchme command)



OTHER OPTION

download this file (http://eqwindows.com/eqw24.zip)....

Browse for the eqgame.exe file....

Click the Fix eqClient.ini check box....

Click the START EQ button....


Theres two ways you can do it... choose one!
