More then one character ????

If I make more then one character on an account I can not get back into my server and same for my friends, Does anyone know how to fix this or is there even a fix for it ?

1) What version of EQEmu?

2) What error is it giving you?

3) What database are you using?

Im using eqemu 5.5 with MW055_alpha_02 db and get a EQ has crashed would you like to send info message everytime , then if i go into mysql and delete the second char. i get in just fine

Try using MW055_alpha1 (http://mwnpcmovdb.myftp.org/MW055_alpha1.zip) . Alpha2 seems to be a little buggy.

Ok using alpha1 now and still the same prob, seems others can create 2 characters though , could it be because GMs on live can not have a character on same server they GM on?? if thats the case mabey there is a way around it?? and thanks alot for the replys

Being a GM isn't it. I have had multiple characters on all of my accounts. I'm not exactly sure what could be causing this. What version of MySQL are you using?

Im using version 1.4 with mysql front , would be great to get this fixed, I like to Gm but want to be able to have a char i can level up regular like also , thanks for trying to help

Verion 1.4 = 4.1?

Have you got the latest Binaries, Graphcis Drivers, DX9? If it still doesnt work try reinstalling EQ and EQEMu and starting fresh.

Acually it is 4.0 but when I open " help" "about " at the top of mysql it says ver.1.4 . anyway It seems anyone that does not have 200 statues can make more then one char. on the server without problems. I can make a second character fine and get in and play but once i log out and try to get back with either character It crashes and I have to delete one through mysql and then im able to get back in again , same for my friends with 200 status

I am also using MW055_alpha_02. Me and my brother hooked up computers with a router (DMZ passed) server works awsome we have fun and summon items and zone whereever we wants and kill monsters and stuff and just have fun. But, then when we using MINILOGIN his account is eqemu and mine is crono... when I log onto crono it has his characters on it, the same as eqemu did. Maybe this is a glitch you guys have to fix? *shrug*

No - MiniLogin works by IP address, it doesn't actually read the user/pass entered on Login Screen. So you're sharing the IP, which means you'll be sharing accounts. In future MiniLogin may support multiple accounts per Ip, but it hasn't been updated for over a year now so I doubt it. It's doing all it needs to do, and if it isn't broken, don't fix it :P
