just curious about eqhost.txt

I noticed that when I play 'live' eq it automatically seems to download eqhost.txt even if I type 'patchme' in the shortcut field.

Is this because I don't download all the 'optional' patches from the server?

When you add patchme, the patcher should NOT come up it should just skip to the EULA. Since there is no patcher then it can't update eqhost.txt. You might have done something wrong.

Yout need to add patchme to eqgame.exe not EverQuest.exe.

Ahhh yeah thats right. Thats probably why his eqhost keeps getting switched.
