been stuffing about with databases since the release and having no end of problems. this has prompted me to ask - what are the recommended databases, door.sql, etc, etc for the new release?

What I'm using right now is MW055_alpha01.sql and then I sourced in MW055_alpha02.sql (it'll take a while...pack a lunch...and dinner....and maybe breakfast) and then I used the GovtCheese loot drop tables. After that source in dumpeditems.sql and you'll be all set.

i'm using MW055_alpha_02.sql and that's it. Only prob that i have with it is the npcs (monsters) don't move. does the alpha01 sql and the govt cheese help this out, or did you have to tweak the database? or am i doing something completely wrong?

Im using the same DB as RexChaos, all work well, but with config i dont think you use well 0.5.5 server because you miss AC on mobs.

Your sig should be:

"hewe we have a wawe gwimpse of the poopsmith in his natuwal habitat"

instead of

"here we have a ware gwimpse of the poopsmith in his natuwal habitat"

Just trying to help get the speech impediment right....I mean wight. :)

see, i thought about doing that, but when you sound it all out, it really doesn't sound like the real thing.

First, make sure you have the .sql file in your c:/mysql/bin folder (assuming you installed MySQL in its default location), then go HERE (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=41381&package_id=33683&release_id=228508) and download the EQEMu-0.5.5-Configuration.zip file and unzip it and follow the directions in the documents folder.
