i am not able to login to Any of the Eqemu servers i get kicked after Char selection what to do ??

If you patched 14 april, this is normal, latest patch broke EQEmu.

i know it's a stupid question and the answer is somewhere else but 1. how do i fix it? 2. if i wait long enough will eqemu eventually overcome this so that the normal patcher can continue to be used? and finally, 3. has this ever happened before april 14?

You cant, the only way is having a backup of your EQ directory.

Yes, devs are working on it, just wait a bit and remember devs are working on EQemu during their free time, so it take a little moment.

3. has this ever happened before april 14?
Im a newcomer, so i cant make you an EQEmu history, but i think it happen every "big" patch.

It happens everytime they change th OPCODE's, so the EMu usually breaks every month or so on a steady basis. Doesn't take long for compatible versions to come out, though.

...and it also means the forums get flooded with people asking "Why can't I get in?", "Is there anyway I can un-patch?", "I didn't have a backup what can I do?", "When is the next version coming out?" etc.
