Items disappearing when zoning

Anyone had this problem? certain items (#summonitem items) seem to disappear when zoning... only to reappear a few zones later. I'm currently using eqemu 0.5.6, with TCmyworld's alpha 2 database.

Any idea why this is happening ?

Oh and also, is it a known fact that most of the kunark/velious zones are fairly populated, while PoP zones are not ? I haven't seen a mob in any PoP zone so far... wondering if it's just the latest db not having these implemented.

The item disappearing bug is a separate issue from PoP zone spawns.

The DB's that were released just didn't have the PoP mobs in the zones. We're working on a new release of the DB which will have PoP spawns. Log on tcsmyworld test server #2 and #zone into some of the PoP zones, there are mobs in many of them now.

I am having the same exact issue with items dropping when I zone and re-appearing a zone or two later. Any ideas on what is causing this and if I can do something to stop it or is it up to the wizards at EQEmu to fix it?

PS Can't wait for the new DB that has the pop zones. I went into Paludal and it was EMPTY. One of my favorite lowbie zones. :)

BTW, I love EQEMU. You guys rock.

I don't mean to be rude but, he cant get any more specific then when he zones his items dissapear. If your talking about which items, I doubt we are going to be able to take account for them all. :D

It is in fact items at random the dissappear. Sometimes it's worn or help items, other times it's stuff from your inventory slots (like a backpack). Many times its 2 or more itmes that dissappear. They come back a zone or two later...often with something else missing. Strange.

Same problem here too...

The item just randomly disapear when you zone. They don't come back after tho... they're just lost.

Only the items that you have just looted disapear. There is a temporary fix for that but kinda annoying, it's to do the equip-unequip 5 times then #save. It's the only thing that i've seen working so far.

I am also working on my 0.5.6 server version, and i know how fix it, u only need replace 0.5.6 file client_proccess.cpp for 0.5.7-DR2 client proccess.cpp then compile it.... and the problem is FIXED.

I have fixed a lot of bugs on my eqemu 0.5.6 server version, i would like that all fix's that u are doing on u 0.5.6 servers will be posted here, then all can get a good 0.5.6 server version.
