ok listen I go to the server select it bla bla bla, create a char bla bla bla, then when I got to enter world with my char it takes me back to server select screen what do I do

Been having the same problem since 4/21/04

Although I was ablel to log into two servers (yea.....?)

What part of it dont you get. You do not have a compatable version of Everquest that will work with whatever version of EQEMu. For the current EQ patch you must play on 0.5.7-DR1 and higher servers that were compiled ON or AFTER 4-24-04.

not meaning to be argumentative... but even those servers wont let you log on.. not me at least boot to server select every time so umm yeah :(

"Those servers" meaning servers you know for a FACT are running a version of 0.5.7-DR1 DATED after 4-24?

0.5.7-DR1 has been around for weeks so there are other versions that DO NOT work.

Alright well at this very second ( 6:46:17) I am patching to EQ Live, then Im gonna redo my eqhost bla bla bla, then see if it works. I am in eastern timezone on April 26th 2004

The latest code available is 5.7 DR2. Those are the only servers garunteed to be up to date with live. Try them.

Just look at the version numbers in the server list. They are at the front of all the server names. Just select one that says 5.7 dr2 and play on it.

thx animepimp, but the only server I like is raid addicts and that is 5.7 DR1, all the servers I dun like is there a way to change this or degrade
