Can anyone tell me how to uninstall direct X?

You really can't. Its a program that can't uninstall very well without reformatting your hard drive, cause Microsoft doesn't want you to get rid of it.

If you don't know how to reformat your hard drive, you might not want to... You'll need to make a backup of everything on your hard drive that you want to keep. Then you'll have to reinstall everything and reload all your drivers...
