I play Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi Knight 3, which uses a Q3 engine the same as Quake 3. I have a clan too which I made.

When forums are new, they need topics or features to keep people active and coming back. Think about it. Besides, what's wrong with having a little bit of fun? Not all forums are 100% serious about everything..

I talked about how the game uses the same engine as Quake 3, and I made a clan also. Therefore I was staying on topic...

#2 I actually do think Naruto Legacy does contribute more. I have him on my MSN buddy list and we talk all the time. All he really did was make 2 tutorials, a server, and contributed a compiled 5.7DR1 server.

Yes he did contribute more then me WOOPDIE DO!

Only quake I ever liekd was Quake 2. Quake one had that "baby poop" color palette that I hated and Quake 3 just seemed a little too manga-style for me. I don't know how to explain it. Kind of liek Street Fighter. Hated part one, part 2 was cool...and from there bleh....

Doom still owns quake...

Doom 3 is gonna be a monster. I can't wait.

Doom 3 > Half-Life 2 also

Hehe...I loved that stuff. Those sounds were a big deal in making that game something memorable.

I love that the newer games coming out seem to be taking sound seriously. A lot of games didn't. EQ's sounds is laughable. You'd think by now that they would have made some improvement in the quality of the EQ engine's sound. I mean after numerous graphics "upgrades" (arguable), one would think they could fix the shitty sound...

...and I still think Doom 3 is gonna own all. :)

Id and activision made some good games..

Just like epic did good with UT99 but they messed up on UT2k3 but UT2k4 was better. So you never know what game they'll make next..

I just watched the Doom 3 Trailer. Then I promptly crapped my pants! :shock:

OMFG! I new the game was gonna rock (after all, we ARE talking about Id here :D), but this just blows all my expectations out of the water!

I mean HOLY CRAP! There were demons ripping open grates, busting through doors, and climbing the walls and ceiling!

And the graphics! I swear, they're almost movie quality!!!

But, enough ranting. I still need to go change my undies. :oops:
