You know, the server owners do tend to upgrade as soon as the devs get a stable live compatible release going. And the devs get a liive compatible release out as soon as they can around life and stuff, but it doesn't help to piss them off with posts like this. The new patch jsut came out today, theres no way you can reasonably expect a fix already.

Most of the green servers are running code that is compatible with the latest eq client...

Server owners can run whatever they want, this is not something you want to tell them because we dont like people like that, atleast I don't. My test server is running the most recent dump, that should work.

The server owners and the developers update their servers as long as they have the interest and the time , not just when the players want to :evil:

All the server owners and developer are doing a great job as it is. take it as it comes!

I agree they arnt going to update just because you want them to ROFL why would they do that? The server owner makes the calls on the servers (I.e. Winters Roar, they have been in 5.3 forever) and that is becuse im guessing that the release suits them just fine, there is a way to solve your side of the problem, DONT PATCH! or make a back up Eq dir. this isnt a hostage crisis so no demands =)
