View Full Version : Best way to add a blind effect to a command?

Hey, im wondering what the best way to add a blind effect is? I want to make a /sleep command that will produce a fd animation/sit animation and blind the player for 60 seconds (hes sleeping), at the end, he would wake up fully recharged.

I am just getting into eqemu code and am wondering what the best way to go about this is? Do you add a new spell effect? or can you just flag a player blinded for X seconds? or something I dont know at all :)

Spell effect, but you cannot add / commands to the client easily. # is commands.cpp
