Stupid Question needs Easy Answer..?

Alright Im pretty sure i have the Dec 2002 Client becuase thats the only client i can go thru the registration process with .
I became aware of this crap after updating to live and screwing my self over reinstalling searching forums and such.
So now i go thru the Registration process with the activation key and my e-mail addy, and i click finish and it goes registering with server may take a moment. How long is a moment the program is still runnin but i dont think its doin ne thing....seems like its just hanging there...wtf ne answers?

Your client may be incompatible with the EQemu registration server and is most definitely incompatible with every EQEmu server. There is no way for you to play without patching, but the latest patch is also incompatible with the EQEmu login servers and all the servers. Sorry aobut your luck, but you needed to patch yesterday in order to play.

You can play on Winters Roar because they have their own little patcher for ye. Think it should work.
