every time i try to log into the new eqemu beta servers it changes my eqhost file to [LoginServer]
Host=xp-smitchell:7308

i tried both the new beta server and the old servers when i hit login it kicks me out of eq totally and i have to reload it doesnt even bring up the server select screen

Just replace your eqhost.txt file with this one http://www.eqemulator.net/eqhost.txt

Because that is the wrong login server...

Set it to read only because the new client for EQ tries to make sure you only play on live.
