6.27.04 - Server is back up and out of beta! We did one last character wipe to fix any bugs.

6.22.04 - Ok 0.5.3 didn't work out, so we are going to check out this latest release and see if it fits the standards we need to run this server. Edit: Ok we are going with the current release. Please redownload the patcher and patch. Patching is not required, but will enchance your CoE gameplay.

6.20.04 - Server is being downgraded to 0.5.3 like Winter's Roar! As soon as we have the patcher I will paste it in here.

6.17.04 - Server upgraded to 0.5.7-DR6, please patch to live Characters were wiped in order to fix server, no reimbursement will be givin.

6.16.04 - BETA Has begun! Feel free to play around on the server! Its unlocked! If you get an error: Zone Unavailable, please just try again.

6.14.04 - Merged with New Horizons! DEV6 has begun! IRC has been added to the server! Type /join irc.(channel, no #) to join a channel!

6.13.04 - Purged the staff of all inactive developers and began finishing up the final coding. Server is in DEV3 out of DEV7 stages of creation. All expansions were disabled. Luclin models and the ability to play any other expansion races or classes.

6.07.04 - We have a dedicated server and we are setting up COE right now, our staff is almost full, so keep applying! We need one more Quest Team Member! The domain is working, so check it out Here (http://www.eqclassic.com/). Also, topic has been stickied.

I noticed the server was not up today prior to 1pm est... or atleast I couldn't find it. I assume the bugs with selling + faction are being fixed?
Anyone know? Has the server come back up?

We had some problems with the server host somehow we lost our terminal connection still trying to figure all of that out. Sorry about not having the server up we cant do anything about it atm.

I'm still here, virus. I got a new Comp on the 19th, which has been giving me more problems than it has been solving. AMD Athlon XP 2600+, 1280 MB Ram, the most powerful machine i've ever been on / seen, isn't working.

If anyone can help me with this problem I am having, it would be awesome....

Problem: I have an FIC KT-748 Motherboard, which apparently is the only downfall piece of shit in my computer. Upon bootup, the damn thing shuts down, no error or anything, just shuts down. It makes it to the windows XP Desktop, and bye, gone, shut down.... About every 1 in 30 tries it will boot up normally.

Now, I think I narrowed down the problem. I have:

ATI Radeon 9200 8x AGP 128 MB Graphics card - DOESNT WORK

e-GeFORCE 4 MX 440 SE 8x AGP 64 mb Graphics card - DOESNT WORK

e-GeFORCE 4 MX 440 PCI 64 MB Graphics card - WORKS

Based off of that, the PCI Cards seem to work. IF anyone has any idea how in the hell to fix this it would be amazing. I have installed the AGP Drivers from the CD that came with the Motherboard, that doesnt work, i have tried tons of different drivers with different cards, not working.

...I'm beginning to think it's hardware.

Other than that, i have had to format my hard drive, um i think 8 times now. In the process losing all 5k+ of my MP3's and Everquest, so, it's been a bitch. I'm writing this from a Laptop, yay

Make sure you have a large enough power supply, like 350 400...

Check your BIOS, you may need to enable your PC to accept an AGP card, disable your PCI slot or select AGP as your preference. And possibly disable an onboard card.

Check your AGP slot for any defects.

Switch to or from 4x and 8x settings in you BIOS.

Just roam your BIOS otherwise and make sure everything is kosher there, if that doesn't work, try checking your manufacturers sites or go to search.com or google.com and search with both product names, you will likely find someone else having the same problems.

If I had to lay odds though, I'de say you need to enable AGP settings in your BIOS or upgrade your power supply.

And btw, I am using an Epox 8RDA with an xp2600+ and it runs excellent... maybe you could try a new MB if all else fails.

It's odd though, i can boot up fine, it will run for 10 hours or so till i shut it down for the night, the next morning ill go to turn it on and nothing...... i'll play with the bios for a little bit, see what happens, i have a 300w power supply, didnt even think that could be the cause.

Nah Virus left for camp a few days ago, i think they are working on it but havn't put it up on the login servers in a few days.
