when I get to the server logon screen i put in my logon and password and click the log on button but it just exits me from EQ and sends me to desktop, whats up????

i think I patched to live, following the instructions of the setup guide heh...what should i do to fix this?

Make sure there are no extra characters or spaces in the eqhost file then make it read only.

This should be stickied somewhere if it isn't, common problem.

ok, i log in and get to the server select screen, but to my suprise, it shows no servers, i check here, says 40 something servers up. Can anyone please tell me whats gone wrong? thanks

A handful are having the no-servers problem. Try re-logging in a few times and see if you eventually get some servers.
