New Login Server

TO SERVER ADMINS ONLY:
From now on, please connect your 5.7DR4+ world to the new login server address in the following file:

http://www.eqemulator.net/eqhost.txt

In other words: be sure your LoginServer.ini file has the following as the only login server:
loginserver=eqemulator.net
loginport=5995

This is only for the people who patched to eqlive, not for you guys still playing on older servers that havent patched yet.

This login server will only show the DR4 Servers at the server select scrren, correct?

For some reason, I no longer see any servers, not even my own, at the login server. I used to see all kinds (DR3, preferred, DR4, etc...)

Same for me i bring my dr4 server up with the change to loginserver.ini then try to connect from my other machine and there are no servers in the list at all.

same here..i dont run a server, but no servers are showing now..none that are lock, up, down etc...scorpius2k was working ..then i believe he/she rebooted server and nothing shows now:(

I can log in fine... but there are NO servers listed any longer. Not sure what happened, but something is screwed up.

ok what do us that only want to play need for our exhost.txt file, can someone elaborate please, i mean are us non admin types supposed to use the [Loginserver]

I dont see how they are listed as fixed for server login. I can only get to the server list which only shows latest ones with the newest patch, and i get no further. I cant get on any of them. I get timed out. Did the latest patchme, ghostfile, datarate, what else can i do?

Ok, i activated my account key and everything, was using the following for eqhost:

still won't let me past the station name and password thing to see the servers. Going to try one more thing and if it doesn't work I'm just going to play Unreal 2004 until i get any news of a fix.

Make sure there are no extra spaces at the ends of either line and set the file to read only.

It was my Firewall, turned it off and it worked just fine. Although when I tried the server listed in green, I made an Iksar and after making it I tried to play and it said "zone unavailable" so then i tried a halfling and it disconnected me when I submitted the name. I then tried one of the legends servers listed in yellow, it started me off in tutorial zone which had never happend to me before. I tried using the #level 65 thing like i usually do when trying a new server with a new character, said I couldn't do that. So then I tried jumping into the exit hole to get outta there only to find that it just rezoned me back into tutorial level. I guess I have to find a good server with level command enabled *shrugs*

both servers said patch 6/something or patch 5/something if your wondering which servers I used.
