I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but i can't log into any servers. I see them and everything, but when i click play everquest it sits at the server select menu for a few seconds, then says "Error - A timeout occurred." The server is Green Leaf, so i assume it's down. (It's a dr4 server and i was playing on it fine on saturday).

The login server is broken. You can now see the server list, but not play on anything. Tis is happening to everyone. Please read the other 10 threads abut this before posting next time.

Ummm its broken since when? It works fine for me as well as 31 other people that were playing when I last checked the new login server.
Little hint: if the server says 0 people are on, its a good bet that the server isnt setup correctly and you wont be able to login to it. Its not a login issue, its a server one.

Stop trying to be a post whore. I read like 4 of your post that say something about you almost losing your temper, then saying search. Why not help the people? Why waste your time posting useless information. Oh so, you can get your post count up? Please if your not going to help, then DONT POST. The bigger post count doesn't make you LOOK COOL.

Well anways back on subject, I had the same problem, Did you try downloading http://www.eqemulator.net/eqlsClient.ini Copy and past that into your EQ directory, it fixed it for me.

I've been having the same problem for awhile and then somehow, someway it like magically fixed itself and then I'm like "wow, okay sweet" but now after it has loaded the screen goes black (like it does when it's going to the char. select thingy) and I keep getting the "EQ has crashed, would you like to send notice to editor" type thing. Someone prolly posted about this, or it's just me and my crappy computer. Just thought i'd post

Why are you people so immature when somebody asks for help? If you know the answer just say it, if you don't know don't reply it's that frickin easy. Do you really enjoy treating people like that?
