Crashes/Kicks after the Character Selection Screen

Hello, I'm Fairly new to EQemu and i have a problem.
90% of the time i try to log on i get to the Character Select screen Fine, i pick a Character and it starts to load up fine.....after a few seconds my internet stops causing it to Time out and Kick me to the Login.

I don't know why this is happening, Please Help

yes...but even when i turn it off it still does it

You're getting on the wrogn sever version most likely. If you've patched in the last month you can only play on 5.7 DR4 servers.

i play on the Green Leaf Server....i am new and not sure what classifiation that is,...any suggestions on what server i should play on?

Look at the server name in the server list, the version for all of them is listed right there.

I would have to agree with him. Thats usualy the case if you cant login. Patch to live and set your eqhost.txt file to

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5995

No spaces whatsoever. Do it in that order it should solve your problem.

If you do it in the other order make sure you set your eqhost.txt file to read only because sony will overwrite it when it patches.

Ok ....Check everything you guys told me and it still happens, happens on every Server...but now it is worse....even if i get logged on i get disconnected within a Minute and i know my internet is working.

This is very frusterating that i can't figure out the problem.. :(
