Crashing the moment I hit enter to login to server select

alrighty, I type my password, and username, once I hit enter, it kinda pauses like its switchin to the server screen, then screen goes black for like a sec, and Im on desktop and EQ isnt running. no error message at all. I tried it on another computer that doesnt have the new login screen, and it worked, so Im not sure if its my computer or what.

If you're using the new login client you have to use this eqhost.txt file:

www.eqemulator.net/eqhost.txt

(right click and Save As to your EQ folder)

that worked for me, but now that I see servers, I can only play on 1 of them, is it because Ive patched all the way up to date and most servers arent?

You can only play on 5.7 Dr6 servers.

Okey dokey, first my eqhost file was faulty so I edited it. But I still couldn't register b/c i woudl crash even with the new ui. So I went to the site based registration and registered, but now I still can't log in without crashing after hitting enter as Sam was.
