No 3D devices found error

Does anyone know if there is a way of getting past this without going out and buying a new video card?

You can try updating your graphics drivers and getting the latest version of Direct X.

I don't think there is a way. I might be wrong, but hardware is somthing that usually needs to be compatible with the game you want to play. A video card with 3d acceleration however can be cheap if you need it to be... I know TnT2's are cheap (search ebay) and they used to work don't know about now since DX9...

I've installed the newsest drivers and the new version of direct X. I even reformatted my computer to see if it would help "had to get rid of some junk anyhow, lol." I used to play all the time, quit for awhile then come back and it's like this. When did they start using direct X 9?

They started using Direct X 9 in Marchish with GoD. I'd suggest going to Sony's support and asking them since I doubt you can get on their servers either.

i'm betting it's a new install of win2k3.. if so check your hardware acceleration for your vid card..
