Okey dokey I'm sorry about making another thread aboutt eh same issue but none of my other posts in other peoples threads have gotten replies yet so I want to go ahead and make my own.

1. Installed EQ June 17, patched all the way. So I have the June 16 patch.

2. Followed the outdated noobie guide.

3. Set up forum acount.

4. Tryed to set up a new account and kept getting an error 1010.

5. Downloaded the ui thing and still kept 1010'n.

6. Updated to the newest eqhost.txt and started crashing after clicking new account.

7. Registered an account via the weblink.

8. Still crashing after trying to connect.

Let me know if there is any other info you need.

Does your eqhost get another LoginServer block added?

If so, its because your eqhost needs to be set at 'Read-only'

In my file, I have to returns (on the last line press enter TWICE). See if that works for you.

If you have installed a Debug version of DirectX 9, try reinstalling with the Retail version. It is much more stable. I had a similar problem once when I was programming and testing with the Debug DX9.

Not sure if it will work, but good luck.

I had 9xb, but I went ahead and re-d/l'd and installed. No Luck. =(

Guess the lack of aid means either we're on the eve of a emu patch or no one realy cares. =(
