I have a problem when i start up everquest i hit play on the scourpious server and it crashes back to login screen everytime i try what do i do?

Well without any mroe details my best guess is that you have patched since the 16th and Scorp2k is not yet compatible with that patch. You need to play on 5.7DR6 servers only.
