Does anyone know why my mouselook might be lagged? It is slightly lagged on all servers and severely lagged on GL server.
I use my mouselook to turn, especially in jousting... I can't function like this.
Any ideas?
I have tried adjusting my mouse speed in game, the most obvious.. it didn't work.

About the only possible reason is that your computer is overburdened, get a better graphics card or processor. This is a question you should really ask Sony as its completely the fault of the game.

I have a radeon 9700 pro, my pc is 2600+ and I have over a gig over DDR ram, it can't be that.... besides, it seems to only lag on Greenleaf server.

Have you asked any other players on the Green Leaf server if they are having this problem?

Yep, I ask in ooc, but thus far I have not seen anyone who is.

If this is on other servers too, have you checked if your mouse is dirty? I used a ball mouse so it gets dirty alot and slows down.

Start everquest in a window (Alt+Return) then Ctrl+Alt+Suppr will load the task manager, in the process list, you ll be able to sort the processes running on your pc by CPU usage. Do it and see what is consumming ressources on your PC. If something related to your mouse shows up, you perhaps have a mouse manager running somewhere that don't interact well with EQ sometimes... just a thought )
Your mouse could also be eventually one of those highly advanced ones, that make the coffee, bring the newspaper, read and answer to your mail in 1 click ?

My mouse does require me to use software... some programs work without the software though, so I didn't install it... but I need to reinstall it so I can move my attack and bash/taunt buttons to my mouse...
Yah, intellipoint optical... your prolly right, I didn't even think about it. I'll try it when I get home tonight at midnight and drop a line to let you know if it works. Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks again, I had my hardware turned down to prevent VPU recovery errors in a different game...
